There have now been 3 fatalities on 24th avenue near the 144th street crossing.
Please slow down and drive with care on all roads surrounding our urban forest park. We do share our neighbourhood with wildlife... Please respect them.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF DEER CROSSING 144TH/24 AND 20TH AVE FROM 140 - 148TH. NEW FAWNS DO NOT HAVE ANY ROAD SENSE. IF YOU NOTICE DEER IN THE DITCH IT COULD SPRING OUT IN FRONT OF YOUR CAR. SLOW DOWN!!! INJURING OR KILLING A DEER WILL ALSO CAUSE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE...THE LIFE YOU SAFE....MAY BE YOUR OWN!
