Introducing Newest Web Manager
My name is Sasha. I am in grade 12 and have been volunteering with Sunnyside Acres Heritage Society (SAHS) for the past two years. I enjoy working with this group because I love birds, enjoy photography, and have always appreciated Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest.
So far I have mainly been keeping behind the scenes with SAHS as a Web Assistant, though you may have seen me helping out at the annual Open House, as well as at the self-guided tour last summer. I am also in charge of the SAHS Instagram page @sunnysideacresheritagesociety, and now that I am replacing Darlene as Web Manager, may be the face behind your communications about the photo contest (see https://www.sunnysideacres.ca/photo-contest for more information).
My plan is to continue updating this website until I leave for university next September. If anybody is interested in learning what it takes to volunteer on the SAHS website, please do not hesitate reach out. If technology is not your strong point, there are numerous other ways to join SAHS. Even the smallest actions can make a big difference, and we appreciate all the help that we can get!
